Penelitian Kendala Sentra kerajinan tembaga

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kendala-kendala internal yang dihadapi pengusaha kecil kerajinan tembaga di kabupaten Boyolali dan merumuskan model atau bentuk pemberdayaan yang sesuai dengan kondisi dan permasalahan yang dihadapi beserta proses pentahapannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif yang diperkaya dengan pendekatan kualitatif.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa, pengusaha kerajinan tembaga dalam upaya mengembangkan usahanya, dihadapkan pada berbagai kendala yang belum mampu diatasi sendiri. Mereka masih memerlukan adanya peran pemerintah atau aktor lain dari luar sebagai stimulus untuk mendampingi dan mendorongnya agar lebih berdaya. Adapun kendala-kendala yang dihadapi antara lain: semakin sulit mendapatkan tenaga ahli bentuk/kenteng, rendahnya etos kerja pegawai, keterbatasan dalam mengakses peluang pasar, masih lemahnya inovasi desain produk, tingginya harga bahan baku dan keterbatasan modal yang dimiliki
